What to know
Professor Brendin is a black belt in the Marcelo Alonso lineage. He is the head professor and oversees the kids and adults Jiu-Jitsu programs. He has been actively teaching since 2016 and is an active competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, competing in the local PNW scene and in the IBJJF competition circuit. In 2022 he took second place at the IBJJF Master Worlds tournament. Brendin and his wife, Megan, own Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
Assistant Coach Megan has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2015, with several prior years of Judo and Kickboxing. From time to time, you'll find her on the mats teaching the Little Bulldogs or the Women's Only BJJ class. Megan is an active competitor on the IBJJF circuit. Megan and her husband, Brendin, own Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
